Finca Villa Natalia

Finca Villa Natalia

In March 2021, we imported 16 sacks of coffee from Finca Villa Natalia, a family-run farm in Garzón, Huila, Colombia.

It was the first time the farm had exported coffee independently.

Our relationship with Fabio and his family began with a visit to the farm in 2019. That visit changed how we understood coffee - not as a product, but as an agricultural process shaped by decisions, labour, and time. Shortly after returning, we began roasting coffee ourselves.

That experience clarified what we mean by relationship coffee: knowing where a coffee comes from, how it is grown and processed, and who is responsible for it. Not as a story to tell, but as responsibility to hold.

We remain in touch with the family today. In 2026, Holly - who works at Bold - visited Finca Villa Natalia, closing a long loop that began years earlier.

That continuity continues to guide how we source and roast coffee.

We prioritise single-estate coffees where possible, fully traceable supply chains, and long-term relationships with producers. We gravitate towards project coffees and repeat collaborations - farms and producers whose work we return to because we trust it, and because we enjoy drinking the coffees they produce.

This is not about novelty.
It is about honouring the raw ingredient, and staying with the work.
