Fuelling the Bold is our philosophy, Carringtons is the fuel, Bold is the conduit - a physical space for events and community.We exist to support resilience, return, and continuity, through coffee, spaces, and shared experience. It's our way of operating that allows good work to repeat over time without urgency or performance.

Coffee

Carringtons Coffee Co. roasts coffee with a focus on traceability, consistency, and long-term relationships.We buy the coffees we want to roast. Single-estate where possible. Fully traceable as standard. Relationships with producers and traders are built over time and we honour the raw coffee we work with.Our job is to relentlessly craft exceptional coffee experiences which for us means making the coffee delightful.

Bold

Bold is where we get to be a part of our local community, where we get to provide hospitality, host events and connect. It's a coffee shop in a small village just outside of Morecambe, next to a beach. We get to perfect coffee here, with a team of Bold baristas who make it all a reality. Small lunch offerings, cake, pastries and the full lineup of Carringtons Coffee Co is also available here.

Community

Our work is local by design.From the beginning, everything has started with a conversation. Over time, this has created a space people recognise before they can fully describe what it sells. That is intentional.We want you to arrive as you are, to stay for a while, and to return without explanation. The strength of our community is familiarity.

Structure

The work is supported by a simple ecosystem.Coffee sales and the operation of Bold generate the surplus that allows free, public-facing events to take place. Alongside the trading business sits Bold Stores & Events CIC, which exists to hold and direct that surplus back into shared experience and local continuity.

Fuelling the Bold is the principles and philosophy that guide us at Carringtons and Bold. It's a developing intangible source for pursuing better wellbeing and staying curious, of holding doubt and courage and making haste slowly. It's living with integrity because we all have different wants and desires. It sums up how we got here but it requires practice to get to where we're going next.
