I've been getting the Carringtons subscription for a few years now and very happy - always great quality coffee, ethically sourced. Visitors always remark on the coffee and I love the personalised notes from Suzy and Alex that come every month.

We buy the PB&J blend regularly from this fantastic small, family-run roastery, and it never disappoints. It's a beautifully balanced light roast—chocolatey and nutty with a subtle fruity sweetness that really shines. The quality and consistency of the beans are exceptional, no matter how we brew it. On top of that, their customer service is always warm and personal. Love supporting a local business that puts so much care into every bag. Highly recommend!

I know I bought this for a close friend, but its coffee at its best.

Ethiopia - Bold and Bright

I love this coffee and now wouldn’t buy anything else.
Note that if you have a Bialetti Moka pot you will definitely need medium ground. I tried the fine ground initially and it clogged the moka pot up and struggled to get through to the top chamber (also tasting a bit bitter when it did)
But this medium ground coffee is perfect, would absolutely recommend

We love the coffee from Carrington. Tried different ones and they are all great. You can not make a mistake. And, the bonus, it is all ethically sourced. What is not to like 😊

Makes a delicious breakfast roast

After tasting this coffee at the Pure Vegan cafe in Lancaster, and reading more about the company, I decided to start buying it. I have 2 Bialetti Moka pots that are only about 6 months old and followed the guidance on the Carringtons website to choose fine ground coffee. It was too fine for my Moka pots - it took longer to brew as I think the coffee compressed too much and the water/ steam had to work too hard to push its way through to the top chamber. The resulting coffee seemed more bitter than I had previously tasted. In addition the coffee was so fine that it worked its way down to the bottom chamber. I checked the Bialetti website and they advised medium-fine ground coffee, so, for the next delivery I ordered the medium ground. This is 100% better - none of the earlier issues and tastes delicious.
Perhaps some moka pots are OK with fine ground, but if you own a Bialetti, I would definitely recommend going with medium ground.
